“全球气候变化概论”全英文教学的思考与实践

摘 要:随着中国教育实力的提高和高等教育国际化的要求,双语教学或全英文教学已受到越来越多的高校重视,并成为推进学科或学校国际化的重要举措。然而,全英文教学普遍存在教学队伍、教材资源不完善,以及语言与教学内容不匹配的问题,亟待对全英文教学进行思考和提高。以南京林业大学生态学研究生的专业选修课“全球气候变化概论”为研究对象,探讨该课程全英文建设过程中的问题和解决方法,提出课前预习和引入“助教”的必要性和可行性。With the improvement of China’s educational strength and the requirement of internationalization of higher education,bilingual teaching or teaching in English has been paid more and more attention to by colleges and universities,and has become an important measure to promote the internationalization of disciplines or schools.However,teaching in English generally faces the problem of imperfect teaching staff and few teaching material resources,and the mismatch between language and teaching content.Thus,it is urgent to improve teaching in English.This paper takes the course of“Overview of Global Climate Change”in English in College of Biology and the Environment of Nanjing Forestry University as a case study,discusses the current problems and puts forward possible solutions to the construction of this course.We think that it is feasible and necessary to enhance the preview before class and introduce teaching assistant into such class.
